Polaris Alpha Named Company of the Year By
Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce
Colorado Springs, CO — November 7, 2017 – Polaris Alpha has been named Company of the Year by the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce & EDC. Polaris Alpha was recognized for its dramatic growth over the past 12 months, in which it was involved with five mergers and acquisitions and expanded to more than 1,300 employees.
Polaris Alpha has had an enormous impact on the government contracting industry in the last year as it advances many mission critical technologies relating to the emerging warfighter domains of Space, Cyber and the Electromagnetic Spectrum. This past October, Polaris Alpha acquired Solidyn Solutions, enhancing its expertise in developing space-based solutions across a number of critical programs in the national security community. It also acquired Intelesys Corporation, significantly expanding Polaris Alpha’s leadership in the cyber and signals intelligence arena.
The acquisitions came shortly after Polaris Alpha’s creation through the merger of Intelligent Software Solutions (ISS) and EOIR Technologies, and then an acquisition of Proteus. These five transactions overall have launched the company into a leadership position in the high technology sector for national security solutions.
“We are honored and humbled that the Chamber of Commerce has picked Polaris Alpha as its Company of the Year,” said Jay Jesse, president, Polaris Alpha. “Our team has worked extremely hard over the past 12 months to strengthen all areas of our company and offer the best technologies and services to the defense and intelligence organizations. This award is the culmination of a tremendously successful year, and we are very happy to be a part of this community.”
